Step Into Art, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded with the mission of providing dynamic, content-rich art education programs that actively engage children with great works of art from Boston-area museums. Each Step Into Art program involves a partnership with a local school, after-school program, or community organization in coordination with a particular museum.
The founder and president of Step Into Art, Inc., Abby Rischin, is a Yale Ph.D. and an award-winning teacher. Abby brings her enthusiasm and expertise to the design and teaching of Step Into Art programs, introducing children to major Boston cultural institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard’s Fogg Art Museum, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
